Northwest Sleep Health is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. AASM accreditation is the gold standard by which patients, organizations and companies evaluate sleep disorder centers. In fact, third party payers in many states will only provide reimbursement for sleep studies if they are conducted at an AASM-accredited facility. Bell, MD, D ABSM, Medical Director Dr. Julian Bell serves as Medical Director for Northwest Sleep Health. Dr. Bell is certified by the American Boards of Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Bell received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York, New York and his Fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Bell previously was Co-director for Northwest Permanente Sleep Laboratory. Dr. Bell has published, given presentations and completed research projects on a variety of medical topics including Sleep Disorders. Currently, Dr. Bell is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Medical Association and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
